A company dedicated to making a positive impact.
Mirmiran Atlantic was founded in 2006 by Arsh Mirmiran to create difference-making built environments, by leveraging his passion for real estate development and his ability to envision new possibilities for underutilized properties.
Arsh grew up in Baltimore and started his career in the design and construction industry while still in high school, serving as a surveyor during the construction of Oriole Park at Camden Yards. After four years as an undergraduate studying civil engineering at the University of Virginia, two years obtaining a Master's in environmental engineering at Georgia Tech, and four years working on major projects at Montgomery Watson in Atlanta and Johnson, Mirmiran and Thompson in Baltimore, he spent over a decade in the engineering field. In 2002, believing he could make a greater difference in the world of real estate development, he decided to pursue an MBA at the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia to complement his engineering skills.
After completing the program, he honed his development skills at A&R Development, managing substantial development projects in both Baltimore and Washington, D.C. At A&R Development, he managed various stages of mixed-use and residential development projects totaling over 1,300 residential units and close to 150,000sf of retail.
Currently, Arsh lives in the Federal Hill neighborhood in Baltimore City and is focused on development projects in the Baltimore metropolitan area. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, serves as Vice-President of the board of Federal Hill Main Street, and sits on the boards of the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults, the Greenebaum Cancer Center at the University of Maryland, and the Mirmiran Foundation. He is actively involved in the community on both a personal and professional level, which he believes is critical in positively impacting others' lives and making a complete difference in the communities in which he develops.
